Writing

Just enter my name into Google: You will find me all over the Web, on my own sites and featured on all sorts of other sites, especially those dealing with education and parenting. I have over 400 articles spread across my ten websites, (and many more that are available only to my students on Blackboard).

My articles have also been included in books published by NAWW (National Association of Women Writers), in college-level literature textbooks, and in pamphlets used in college English departments to train new teachers.

If you wish to reproduce one of my articles in a book, magazine, or newsletter, or if you wish to use one of my articles on your own website, please e-mail me for permission.  (I almost always grant permission, but I do like to see where my work is being reprinted.)

My short (77-page) book A Practical Guide to Basic Sentence Grammar, which uses diagramming to clarify sentence grammar, will soon be available for purchase through this site, both as a print text and as an e-book.
